Servers Being Reinstalled

Since the new update the servers no longer work. I am gonna do a new install of both servers as they could probably use a bit of a clean up and refresh anyways. Could Admins please make sure their steam IDs are on the website and correct as this is how I will create the new admin list.

Counterstrike:Source Beta slots filled :(

Just checked the link and they have filled all the available slots so no more downloading of the beta version unfortunately. It's not a huge change, however there are some better textures and the guns have been evened a bit. Not been on enough but the smg damage is increased and awp is decreased slightly but still a one shot kill. Recoil on some of the guns are different with loads more on the AK. The new achievements are a more like DOD, and a view of your killer instead of a full killcam, again like DOD. Your steam Avatars are also shown in game, and in the scoreboard. All in all not that different, it will be newer to those of you who haven't played DOD but after a few years anything fresh is good plus I recon a re balancing of the guns is a superb way of opening up play......

Counter-Strike: Source Update Now in Beta

Available immediately, Valve has launched an extensive update to Counter-Strike: Source, now in beta.

The update includes a host of new features and functionality developed in collaboration with Hidden Path Studios. These include 144 new achievements, a new domination and revenge system, player stats, and more.

This beta will run for a limited time, and once complete, the update will be deployed to all Counter-Strike: Source owners for free via Steam.

Server admins may download the dedicated server files via the HLDSUpdateTool using "-game cssbeta" in the command line.

LOL. We are now back on. It's taken a few days but thanks to Xippy support we are back again. For those of you who din't know, one of our admins accounts was hijacked and the website and vent fucked up. Vent was easy enough to restore but the webby is a bit more difficult. I will take the opportunity to do a bit of spring cleaning and reorganize a bit, but it may take me couple of weeks till everything is sorted. Oh, and despite the rumors we are not folding.
